The purpose of this RFQ is to select a quotation for to supply and deliver grass seed, fertilizer, ice melter, lime, and wetting agents for the 2023 parks operation requirements, further described in Schedule A of this RFQ. Additionally, the information is listed in the Unit Price Schedule - Product Information and Price Sheet.

The District of Sechelt invites interested Suppliers to submit a Quote to supply and deliver grass seed, fertilizer, ice melter, lime, and wetting agents for the 2023 parks operation requirements, as described in the Unit Price Schedule.

The quantities listed for which unit prices are required are annual estimates only and do not constitute a warranty, or guarantee by the District as the actual quantities to be purchased may be more or less. The quantities are to be used for the purpose of comparison Quotations. The District expressly reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantities, as need dictates.

Suppliers are advised that a loading dock is not available and this must be considered when delivering the seed, fertilizer, lime and wetting agents or choosing freight carriers.
All prices are F.O.B. destination, Public Works Yard, 5445 Allen Road, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A3.

All unit pricing is all-inclusive pricing, in Canadian funds and includes but not limited to duties,
handling, transportation charges F.O.B. Public Works Yard, 5445 Allen Road, Sechelt, BC V0N 3A3, unloading, all packaging requirements, environmental handling fee, insurances and licenses.
Unit pricing exclude the PST and GST. Taxes are shown as a separate line item.

All unit pricing must be firm for one (1) year, the initial term of the Contract.
Bidders are to submit technical data sheets for fertilizer and lime with their Quote
