Contract 2023-12, involves asphalt shoulder widening to accommodate bike lanes and multi-use pathways along Reef Road, Shoal Way, and Lighthouse Ave within the District of Sechelt.
In order to complete the above noted work, the following is planned:
- Converting ditches to storm main, including relocation of existing ditches;
- Asphalt shoulder widening to facilitate bike lanes;
- Culvert extension;
- Paving;
- Conduit and streetlight bases to support future streetlights and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs); and,
- Signage and road marking.
